Very aromatic, honeysuckle nose. Can work with strong flavors such as Cebiche

no structure, too sweet, but approachable for someone who is afraid of wine

2014 Chenin Blanc, Columbia Valley, Washington


Brasher's block is oldest chenin blanc in NW planted in 60's

6 months in neutral oak so no vanilla or toast but adds richness and hint of almond

Very textured

Pair w/ fatty fish like tuna, even chicken or uncured pork

Cellar Credo Xarel-lo

2013 Miranius Penendes, Spain


Organic, similar to Muscadet, citrus, green highlighter and green notes, strong acidity and low alcohol

Pairs w/ salty food like Pescado

More esoteric so offer taste

Very warm and dry harvest

Oaked, but not overly so, gets richness and toast, but not overwhelming, apple, pineapple, meyer lemon

Pair w/ rich seafood, Conchas del senor de Sipan

Sun kissed with candied lemon/lemon drop and pineapple. Peach blossom, chamomile on the nose

Grown near Mediterranean, no oak but balanced acidity

Wonderful coating mouthfeel
