Have you ever had a life experience that was extremely life changing? Well, I have and you best believe when I tell you my life hasn’t been the same since. Can you picture living without your mother, the lady who raised you, took good care of you, birthed you? Well, I had to go without her at an early age and it has taken a toll on my life. Honestly, I can say sometimes having life experiences can better your way of thinking. Let me tell you about my life changing experience. At the age of 17, my mother had gotten really sick. She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure which got worse over the years. Having health problems, being in and out the hospital brings more problems, sickness, and also stress. It seem like every time she would leave the hospital, she would have another illness. It was very tiring for me, me still being in school, trying to take care of my mother, from changing her diapers in the middle of the night, to giving her medication and special attention. When you are young, you don’t normally look at things the same as you do when you’re grown. So let’s just say I wish I could do it all over again!!
I felt so alone and to think I had an older sister who stayed just right across the street who only would help if it was money-related, which was wrong because that was her mother too. I hated seeing my mother suffer and cry at night because of sickness and because she wanted to go home. There were plenty of nights I wish I could have stayed at the…
