The business I have chosen for this task is Tesco. Tesco was founded in 1919 in Hackney, England by Jack Cohen and started off as a group of market stalls. Tesco’s headquarters are based in Cheshunt, England but it has many stores around the UK and also has stores in countries across Europe such as France, Hungary and Poland. It is the second largest retailer in the world measured by profits and if measured by revenue it is the third largest retailer in the world. Tesco has a variety of stores such as Tesco express, Tesco metro, Tesco extra and Tesco homeplus.
