According to Mary’s views, managers do not make the partialities between the parties. Also, there should be proper response from both the sides were correct in different ways. The manager has to listen both the parties ‘conflict and have to work on it faithfully so that both the parties would be satisfied with the manager’s decision. The decision from manager side is through integration of interests not through compromises.
Thirdly, she ensured that a single person’s point of view on any matter doesn’t dominate other’s options. She gave preference to the group’s decision over an individual one. Moreover, she ensured that the organization had a single culture instead of a fragmented one which helps the company to achieve its goal. Within a group, knowledge and responsibilities were assigned by the manager to ensure that everyone had a balanced workload instead of few people within a group doing the entire work.
